In June 2022, the 16th Course on Networks and Data Communication concluded, with 2 officers and 15 enlisted personnel graduating after 9 weeks of training focused on military network administration.
May 2024, 4th-year communications cadets from the Eloy Alfaro Military Academy (ESMIL) visited the monitoring and control centers in Latacunga to strengthen their applied knowledge.
